Welcome to our website

Do take a moment or two to have a look round - you'll soon see why we love Scottish Country Dancing. Why not give it a try?  The first two weeks are FREE for new dancers.

DON'T FORGET - Visitors' Invitation Evening - Weds 8th April at Tarporley Community Centre

IMPORTANT - Our class on Wednesday 15th April 2015 has been re-located to Worleston Village Hall CW5 6DN. Click on the link for directions - it's easy to find on the B5074 (the road that runs between Nantwich and Winsford).  This is a brand new village hall; there's plenty of parking and a very good floor for dancing!

For fun, friendship and fitness

If you're looking for gentle exercise in a friendly social atmosphere there is no better pastime than Scottish Country Dancing - we hope you will come along and give it a try.  You don't have to be Scottish and you don't need a partner as we all take turns to dance with each other.

RSCDS Cheshire Branch's classes are held on Wednesday evenings from September through to the end of May at Tarporley Community Centre. Click here for further information about our General Class.

In addition to our regular teaching classes, we arrange a number of dances and Day Schools for various levels of expertise.  Our New Year Ball is the high spot of our calendar.  Look out also for our "Nice & Easy" dances and our Summer Social dance evenings in July.

Our Wednesday classes are suitable for all levels:

7.00 - 8.00 p.m. Basic Steps and Techniques - beginners are especially welcome to join our 'early birds' session at any time during the year.  Those with some experience might also appreciate the opportunity to work on and perfect the basics. Click here for details.

8.00 - 8.50 p.m. General dancing - our beginners integrate with the general class very quickly and the more experienced dancers are always willing to help.

9.00 - 10.00 p.m. More advanced dancing - a more challenging session for those with more experience, but all are welcome to stay and watch.  Sooner or later, you'll be ready to join in!
